I. Chronology
28 B-24’s took off at 0735 – 0759 hours to bomb Larissa M/Y (Greece). 1 returned early. Bomb load 10 – 500 lb RDX bombs fused .1 and non-delay. The formation dropped no bombs, both primary and alternate targets being 9/10 overcast. 26 returned 65 tons to base. 1 A/C jettisoned 2-1/2 tons. 27 returned to base at 1225 hours. None lost, missing or at friendly fields. There were no effective sorties.

II. Route and Assault
Rendezvoused alone over Manduria at 14,000 feet at 0849 hours thence to 4003N -1948E to IP Lake Askouris (3957N – 2228E) making the run to target on an axis of 184 degrees true. Finding the primary target (Larissa M/Y) 9/10 covered, the formation made a turn to the right at approximately 3947N-2228E, thence direct to Nea Khaikedon making a right turn to Salonika the alternate target. Finding Salonika also 9/10 covered, a turn to the left was made at approximately 4042N -2248E, passing to the West of Nea Khailedon, to 3947N – 2228E, to 3950N – 2035E to base. III. Results. No bombs were dropped.

IV. Enemy Resistance
A. Fighters. There were no interception by enemy fighters. [However, several enemy fighters and some unidentified fighters were seen.]
B. Flak. No flak was encountered on the approach to Larissa.

[No losses. No Damage. No Casualties. No victories.
